Keith Summers (1948-2004), recorder of traditional musicians and singers from Suffolk to Fermanagh, editor of the original Musical Traditions Magazine, and co-founder of the Club, was also a Blues enthusiast, life-long Southend United supoporter, a good ol' boy and a good friend of ours. It was one of Keith’s last requests that some musical events should be held in his memory, which were held every May from 2005 to 2011, at The King and Queen, home of the Musical Traditions Club. Now that the original funding has run out we are organising samlller-scale gatherings.
